A NEW WORLD
OF OFFICE SPACE IN PARIS

Central Paris. Boulevard Haussmann. Around 100 employees at an international company in the financial sector move into their modern new home. The generously proportioned premises are characterized by an intelligently designed layout that fulfils all office requirements to the letter and an interior design concept that emphasizes the use of premium materials.

It took just 20 weeks to create the new premises, which comprise just over 1,400 m² of space. The concept behind them is founded on the goal of creating an open space office with the capacity and flexibility to tangibly fulfil the needs of a variety of employees.

A BLEND OF SPECIALLY
DESIGNED OFFICE SPACES

Open space zones that are ideal for individual work with a certain amount of exchange coexist with smaller, enclosed offices offering privacy and confidentiality. The new premises also feature meeting rooms for internal and external exchange. What is special about the layout is that the various work zones are consciously separated by communication zones. The foyer, cafeteria and dialogue zone act as buffers that create a tangible transition from one type of office space to another.

The main workstations are defined by clear, neutral colours and materials and designed to support concentration and focus. This contrasts with the aesthetics of the various communication zones, where natural materials such as the wood of the wall claddings and furniture combine with warm light to create a pleasant, cosy atmosphere in which open exchange comes naturally.

// We have now been assisting this customer in the conversion and redesign of their office spaces for many years. What was special about this project was the intense conceptualization phase, during which we worked closely with Nething’s Interior Design team. As a result, workflows and the various types of office space required are clearly reflected in the floor plan. The use of premium materials – one of the customer’s top priorities – is the icing on the cake. //
